National tour — February 2027

The New Generation, up close.

Six trucks, both islands, one February. Come see what an efficiency-tuned engine, lower running costs and standard safety gear actually feel like from the driver's seat.

This February, the full New Generation line-up goes on the road with Southpac Trucks — Hamilton to Invercargill, six confirmed stops and more on the way. It's the same award-winning range built around one idea: lower running costs, without the long list of options to get wrong.

Efficiency
One engine

An efficiency-tuned PACCAR MX engine across the whole range — no confusing options to get wrong.

Running costs
Extended service intervals

Engineered to maximise vehicle availability and lower cost per kilometre.

Safety
Standard, not optional

Electronic stability control and CornerEye camera monitoring, standard across the range.

The range
XF XG XG+

10.5m³ to 12.5m³ — three cab sizes, one efficient driveline throughout.

Efficiency, not extras

One engine. Tuned for the job.

Every New Generation DAF sold here runs the same efficiency-tuned PACCAR MX engine — paired with an aerodynamic design engineered to cut fuel use and running costs, not a long options list to second-guess.

The flagship XG+

The most spacious cab DAF builds.

A raised roofline and 12.5m³ of cab space — for operators and drivers who live in the cab, where the extra room actually matters. It's the truck this tour is built around, and it'll be parked at every single stop.

On site

Two trailers. Neither one is carrying a truck.

Alongside the six trucks, there's a stop-in-its-own-right sideshow — a merch trailer stocked for the first time in New Zealand, and a simulator that puts you behind the wheel on the other side of the world.

The Shop

A full trailer fitted out as a pop-up DAF store — the entire New Generation merchandise range, on sale in New Zealand for the very first time. Cash and card on site.
